Welcome to Film Credit Network (“FCN”).

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Film Credit Network website and the services, FCN Profiles, Company Supporter packages, digital products and film content provided through the platform.

By accessing or using this website, or purchasing a product or service from Film Credit Network, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

1. ABOUT FILM CREDIT NETWORK
Film Credit Network is an independent film platform dedicated to producing independent films, creating professional opportunities and supporting actors, writers, producers, directors, crew and other industry professionals.

FCN also provides professional Profiles, industry resources, film viewing and opportunities for companies and organisations to support and engage with independent filmmaking.

2. USE OF THE WEBSITE
By using this website, you agree to:

• use the website lawfully;
• provide accurate information where requested;
• respect the rights of other users and third parties;
• not interfere with the operation, functionality or security of the website;
• not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any restricted area of the website;
• not copy, reproduce or distribute FCN content without permission; and
• not use FCN, its Profiles or its services for misleading, fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

FCN reserves the right to restrict or suspend access where these Terms are breached.

3. SUPPORTING FILM CREDIT NETWORK

There are different ways to support Film Credit Network, including watching FCN films, purchasing an FCN Profile and becoming an FCN Company Supporter.

The benefits and services associated with each type of purchase are different and will be clearly described on the relevant page at the time of purchase.

Supporting FCN, purchasing an FCN Profile or becoming an FCN Company Supporter does not guarantee employment, auditions, casting opportunities, commissions, film credits or any other professional outcome.

FCN is committed to creating genuine opportunities wherever possible but cannot guarantee individual results.

4. FCN PROFILES
FCN Profiles are professionally presented online Profiles designed to showcase an individual’s professional experience, credits, skills, achievements and current career stage.

Every FCN Profile is personally reviewed before publication.

FCN Profiles are intended as a professional presentation and credibility platform. They do not constitute representation by a talent agency, acting agency, employment agency or management company.

Initial Profile Purchase
The initial cost of an FCN Profile is £74.98, comprising:
£49.99 professional setup and design fee
£24.99 first-year Profile fee

The setup fee covers the professional creation, design, formatting, review and preparation of the Profile for publication.

Annual Renewal
After the first 12 months, FCN Profiles automatically renew at £24.99 per year unless cancelled. Profile owners may cancel future automatic renewal at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid 12-month period, and the Profile will remain published until that period ends. If the Profile is not renewed, it will then be unpublished.

Profile Updates
Published Profile owners may request updates for £4.99 per update request.

One standard update request may contain up to five reasonable changes submitted together.

Reasonable changes may include:

• adding or amending professional credits;
• updating skills;
• changing photographs;
• updating professional links;
• updating career information; or
• making minor factual amendments.

Substantial rewriting, restructuring, redesign, replacement of significant amounts of material or other work outside a standard update may incur an additional charge.

FCN will advise the Profile owner of any additional charge before undertaking that work.

5. PROFILE INFORMATION, VERIFICATION & EDITORIAL CONTROL
Profile owners are responsible for ensuring that all information and materials supplied to FCN are accurate, lawful and not misleading.

The Profile owner must have the necessary rights and permissions to provide any photographs, showreels, trailers, video, text, logos or other materials submitted for publication.

Film Credit Network reserves the right to:

• request evidence supporting credits, qualifications, awards, experience or other claims;
• edit formatting and presentation to maintain consistency across FCN Profiles;
• request clarification or additional information;
• decline information that cannot reasonably be verified;
• decline material that does not meet FCN’s professional publication standards; and
• remove information that is misleading, unlawful, offensive or infringes the rights of another person.

Purchase of an FCN Profile does not guarantee that every item submitted will be published.

FCN retains editorial control over material published on the Film Credit Network platform in order to protect the credibility and professional standards of FCN Profiles.

6. FCN COMPANY SUPPORTERS
FCN Company Supporter packages are available to eligible companies and organisations for £350 per year, subject to the package and terms displayed at the time of purchase or agreement.
Company Supporters may receive benefits including company presence on FCN and opportunities to submit appropriate industry news, casting information, crew vacancies, production opportunities or other relevant material for consideration.

All submitted material remains subject to FCN approval and editorial standards.

Becoming an FCN Company Supporter does not guarantee publication of every item submitted, commercial results, recruitment results or any particular level of exposure.

FCN reserves the right to reject material that is misleading, unlawful, inappropriate, irrelevant to the FCN audience or inconsistent with FCN’s professional standards.

7. FILM VIEWING & DIGITAL RENTALS

Films made available through Film Credit Network are licensed for personal viewing only.
The price and viewing period applicable to each film will be clearly displayed before purchase. Film prices may vary between productions.

Purchasing access to an FCN film does not create an FCN Profile, Company Supporter package or entitlement to ongoing FCN benefits unless expressly stated.

Customers must not:
• download or attempt to download protected film content;
• reproduce or copy a film;
• screen-record or otherwise record film content;
• redistribute or share film content;
• publicly screen a film;
• make purchased viewing access available to another person for commercial purposes; or
• commercially exploit FCN film content.

• Circumvent, disable or attempt to bypass any digital rights management, access control, streaming protection or other technical security measure used to protect FCN film content;

Any public exhibition, educational screening, commercial screening or other use requires prior written permission from the appropriate rights holder.

8. DIGITAL CONTENT & STREAMING CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Where a customer purchases digital content or streamed film access and chooses to receive access immediately, FCN will obtain the customer’s express consent to begin supplying the digital content during the statutory cancellation period and acknowledgement that the applicable right to cancel will be lost once supply begins, where required by law.

This information should also be provided as part of the customer’s order confirmation.

Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory rights available where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

9. DIGITAL PRODUCTS & RESOURCES
Digital products may include templates, guides, downloadable resources, educational materials and other FCN resources.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, digital products are supplied for the purchaser’s own personal or professional use.

They may not be resold, redistributed, republished, copied for distribution or made commercially available to third parties without prior written permission.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, all content appearing on Film Credit Network is owned by Film Credit Network or used with permission from the relevant rights holder.

This may include:
• FCN branding and logos;
• graphics;
• text;
• photographs;
• artwork;
• films and video;
• trailers and promotional material;
• Profile designs;
• downloadable products;
• documents;
• templates; and
• educational materials.

Nothing on the website transfers ownership of intellectual property to the user.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution or commercial exploitation is prohibited.

11. PAYMENTS
Prices applicable to FCN products and services will be displayed before purchase.

Payments are processed through authorised third-party payment providers.
Film Credit Network does not store full payment card details.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and account information.

Where an FCN Profile is subject to annual renewal, the applicable renewal price and automatic renewal arrangements will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

12. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
FCN will provide cancellations and refunds in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Different cancellation rules may apply depending on whether the purchase concerns a service, digital content, streamed content or another type of product.

Where a customer requests that FCN begins providing a Profile design or another service during an applicable statutory cancellation period, FCN may request the customer’s express permission to begin work.
If the customer subsequently exercises a statutory right to cancel after work has begun, FCN may be entitled to charge a proportionate amount for work already performed, where permitted by law.

Where a service has been fully performed following the customer’s express request and acknowledgement, statutory cancellation rights may cease where the law permits.

Nothing in these Terms limits a customer’s statutory rights where a service or digital product is faulty, not as described or has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.

This wording reflects the distinction UK law makes between services and immediately supplied digital content.

13. PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
FCN may publish or share casting calls, crew vacancies, professional opportunities, industry information or other third-party opportunities.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, publication by FCN does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the third party or opportunity.

Users remain responsible for carrying out their own checks before entering into any professional, contractual or financial arrangement with a third party.

FCN does not guarantee that any individual will obtain work, representation, auditions, commissions, funding or other professional opportunities through use of the platform.

14. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES & SERVICES
The FCN website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms and services.

Film Credit Network is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices or operation of third-party websites.

Users should review the terms and privacy policies applicable to those services.

15. AVAILABILITY OF THE PLATFORM
FCN will make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and security of the platform.

However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Access may occasionally be restricted because of maintenance, technical issues, security requirements or circumstances outside FCN’s reasonable control.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Film Credit Network will take reasonable care in providing its services and maintaining information published through the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FCN will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or services where such liability may lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

17. PRIVACY
Personal information collected through Film Credit Network will be handled in accordance with the FCN Privacy Policy.

Users should refer to the separate Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available through the website footer.

18. CHANGES TO PRODUCTS, SERVICES & THESE TERMS
FCN may develop, amend or discontinue features, benefits and services as the platform evolves.

Changes affecting an existing paid service will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable contractual and consumer-law requirements.

FCN may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on this website together with its effective date.

19. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights a consumer may have under applicable law.
