Film Credit Network — Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund & Returns Policy

Film Credit Network

Effective Date: 18 October 2026

At Film Credit Network, we are committed to providing a fair, professional and transparent purchasing experience.

This Refund & Returns Policy explains the cancellation, return and refund arrangements for purchases made through our website, including digital film rentals, Individual Profiles, Company Profiles, digital resources and physical merchandise.

All refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

1. Digital Film Rentals

Films purchased through Film Credit Network are provided as time-limited digital streaming rentals.

The rental price and viewing period will be clearly displayed before purchase.

Where a customer expressly consents to immediate access to digital content and acknowledges that their statutory 14-day cancellation right will be lost once supply begins, that cancellation right will end when supply begins.

Refunds will not normally be available after digital supply has commenced where the legal requirements for losing the cancellation right have been satisfied.

If a customer experiences a technical issue that prevents them from accessing or viewing a purchased film, they should contact Film Credit Network so that the issue can be investigated.

Where appropriate, Film Credit Network may restore access, provide a replacement viewing period or issue a refund.

Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights relating to digital content that is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.

2. Individual Profiles

Individual Profiles are professional services involving the creation, design, preparation, review and publication of a customer’s professional information.

The applicable initial setup fee and annual Profile fee will be displayed before purchase.

Consumers purchasing a Profile online will generally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period beginning the day after the contract is entered into.

Where a customer expressly requests that Film Credit Network begins work during the cancellation period, and the necessary information has been provided, a proportionate charge may apply for services already supplied if the customer subsequently cancels.

Where the service has been fully performed following the customer’s express request and acknowledgement that their cancellation right will be lost on full completion, the statutory cancellation right may cease where permitted by law.

If work has not commenced, customers exercising a valid statutory cancellation right will receive the refund to which they are legally entitled.

Film Credit Network will consider any other cancellation or refund requests fairly, taking account of work completed and applicable contractual and statutory rights.

3. Company Profiles

Company Profiles provide professional online presentation and associated services for businesses and organisations.

The applicable annual fee, renewal arrangements and services will be disclosed before purchase.

Where a Company Profile is purchased for business purposes, statutory consumer cancellation rights may not apply. Cancellation and refund arrangements will be governed by the agreed contractual terms and applicable law.

Where a purchaser legally qualifies as a consumer, applicable statutory consumer rights will be respected.

Refund requests will be assessed fairly, taking account of services already provided, contractual commitments and any applicable legal requirements.

4. Annual Profile Renewals

Individual and Company Profiles may involve annual renewal payments.

Where automatic renewal applies, the renewal price, frequency and cancellation arrangements will be disclosed before purchase.

Customers may cancel automatic renewal to prevent future payments using the cancellation method provided with their subscription or by contacting Film Credit Network.

Cancellation of automatic renewal will ordinarily prevent the next scheduled renewal charge and will not automatically terminate an already paid annual period.

Fees already paid are not automatically refundable solely because a customer chooses to cancel future renewal.

Any applicable statutory cancellation rights, refund rights or rights arising from the agreed terms remain unaffected.

If a Profile is not renewed, Film Credit Network may remove or unpublish it following the end of its paid period, in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions.

5. Digital Products and Resources

Digital products may include downloadable guides, templates, educational materials and other digital resources.

Where customers expressly consent to immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that their statutory cancellation right will be lost when supply begins, the cancellation right will end once supply begins, provided the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.

Where those requirements have not been satisfied, statutory cancellation rights may continue to apply.

Customers retain their statutory rights if digital products are faulty, not as described or do not meet applicable legal standards.

6. Clothing and Physical Merchandise

Film Credit Network sells physical merchandise, including clothing and other branded products.

6.1 Change-of-Mind Returns

Consumers purchasing eligible physical goods online generally have 14 days from the day after receiving their order to notify Film Credit Network that they wish to cancel.

Following notification of cancellation, customers generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Customers do not need to provide a reason for exercising their statutory cancellation right.

6.2 Condition of Returned Items

Customers may inspect and try on clothing in the same way they reasonably would in a physical shop.

Returned items should be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.

Where goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, Film Credit Network may make a lawful deduction for any resulting reduction in value.

This does not affect statutory rights concerning faulty or incorrectly described goods.

6.3 Return Postage and Tracking

Customers are encouraged to use a tracked postal or courier service when returning merchandise and to retain proof of postage.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the direct cost of return postage where this has been disclosed before purchase, unless Film Credit Network agrees otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

Film Credit Network may request a tracking number or proof of postage to assist with locating and processing a return.

Using a tracked service is recommended but is not a mandatory condition for exercising statutory cancellation rights.

6.4 When Merchandise Refunds Are Issued

For eligible change-of-mind returns, Film Credit Network may withhold reimbursement until:

  • The returned goods have been received; or

  • The customer provides satisfactory evidence that the goods have been sent back;

whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the applicable event above.

A tracking number alone may not establish that an item has been handed to the carrier. Customers should retain evidence confirming dispatch.

6.5 Original Delivery Charges

Where required by law, refunds for cancelled eligible orders will include the original standard delivery charge.

If a customer selected a more expensive delivery option, Film Credit Network is not normally required to refund the additional amount above the standard delivery charge.

6.6 Personalised or Custom-Made Products

Products made to a customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right where the legal exemption applies.

Standard clothing featuring Film Credit Network branding is not automatically considered personalised or exempt from cancellation rights.

Customers retain their statutory rights if personalised products are faulty, damaged or not as described.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or materially different from its description, customers should contact Film Credit Network with their order details and an explanation of the problem.

Photographs may be requested to help investigate the issue, but this does not remove any statutory rights.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, customers may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, Film Credit Network will meet its legal obligations, including applicable return costs and refund deadlines.

Nothing in this policy restricts rights provided by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Orders Not Received or Lost in Transit

Where an order has not arrived, customers should contact Film Credit Network with their order number.

Film Credit Network will investigate the delivery status using the relevant courier or postal tracking information.

Where Film Credit Network is responsible for delivery and the goods have not been delivered as required by law, an appropriate remedy will be provided, which may include replacement goods or a refund.

Customers will not be required to resolve delivery disputes directly with the courier where responsibility legally remains with Film Credit Network.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless another method is expressly agreed where permitted by law.

Refunds will be processed within the applicable statutory deadlines.

The time taken for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on their bank or payment provider.

No refund administration fee will be imposed where doing so would breach applicable consumer law.

10. How to Request a Cancellation, Return or Refund

Customers wishing to request a cancellation, return or refund should contact Film Credit Network through our website:

https://filmcreditnetwork.com/contact/

Please include:

  • Your name

  • Your order number

  • The product or service purchased

  • The reason for contacting us, where relevant

  • Any relevant tracking information or evidence of a fault

Customers exercising a statutory right to cancel do not have to provide a reason.

For merchandise returns, customers should contact Film Credit Network to obtain the appropriate return instructions and address. This does not prevent customers from exercising their statutory cancellation rights by another legally valid method.

11. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund & Returns Policy excludes, restricts or overrides any statutory consumer rights.

This policy operates alongside our Terms and Conditions and applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where a provision of this policy conflicts with a customer’s mandatory statutory rights, those statutory rights will take precedence.
